Tick and tock,
Flick and flock,
Caw, caw, it's here:
The sparrows,
The parrots,
The cuckoos,
The chickens,
The kites,
Eagles,
Migratory birds are here
Which ones do I pick-
Tails and feathers
Yellow, green, black and blue,
Birds that remind me of reptiles,
Birds straight out of the caged zoo!
I spot them not,
They fly too high,
Chirp too soon
And forgetting why,
I get lost in a melody true.
Pick me a favorite bird,
Say, you will

And flap my wings,
I would.

Metaphor received: She is burning, graceful, glassy, echoing and minty
Poem:
She tiptoes on the veins of leaves, her image mirroring the greens,
Gliding and sifting through leaves, fresh full of dewdrops,
She moves, she twirls and stops,
Chirping the songs of rarest birds, she's like them all
And none of those, hot and cool, if you bite her,
she fills the heart with lemon mints,
The music of her eyes echo deep, mirroring each emotion she feels-
On her face, clear like glass you see water clean,
Flowing like rivers, without tears
And she burns and burns with love, when you touch her,
Burning with agonizing pain that leaves her scarred
In moments of truth, beauty, grace:
Eyes mirroring yours
In truths you fathom not,
Her tongue slithers, burning with these.
She isn't just a woman,
A plain woman,
She's one in a century
For

She is burning, graceful, glassy, echoing and minty!
